People from across the Don Valley and Northern Toronto gathered at the Ismaili Centre in Don Valley East to discuss their thoughts on our government’s 2016 budget. Strong advice was heard about the importance of long-term sustainable economic growth and prosperity after more than a decade of weak economic growth.
Delivering on our government’s pledge of openness and transparency, this consultation was a part of a nationwide process engaging Canadians in preparation for the 2016 federal budget. There was an incredible turnout and we greatly appreciate the contributions made by all who attended. It generated valuable advice and allowed us to hear the concerns of our communities in regard to the federal Budget.
