I have a wonderful time every August celebrating Eid Al-Adha with several muslim communities in Don Valley West.
I began my day on August 11th at sunrise prayers at 65 Musalla in Thorncliffe Park during first Eid Al-Adha prayers.
Following these prayers, I was happy to meet with friends at 65 Musalla, especially the ones who got new outfits for Eid. Many were looking sharp.
As always, I received a warm welcome at Masjid Darus Salaam as the community gathered to celebrate Eid with friends and family.
Afterwards, I was pleased to join the vibrant Afghan-Canadian community in Thorncliffe Park as they celebrated Eid Al-Adha.
