Apply for the DVW Youth Council
I want to hear the input and advice of youth in our communities and am inviting you to apply to the Don Valley West Youth Council. Our Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, has made it clear that young voices need to be a part of the decision-making process.
The DVW Youth Council will be made up of a group of youth, aged 15-24, from different schools and neighbourhoods all over our riding. It’s mandate will be to advise me in my role as Member of Parliament on the positions youth in our riding hold on issues that matter to you, your community and your country. The feedback gathered in our discussions will be used to understand the perspective of youth in the decisions the government makes.
Once selected, the council will meet a number of times through the year.
