About the Youth Council:
Rob launched the Don Valley West Youth Council in September 2016 to engage young people from the riding in discussions about issues or causes that matter most to them. The 26 young people on the Youth Council, aged 15-25 years, met with Rob throughout the 2016-2017 school year to discuss topics such as public safety and national security, the refugee crisis, electoral reform, climate change, indigenous affairs, and infrastructure. They provided thoughtful comments and ideas on how our government can engage young people in these important policy files and make a difference in Canada and around the world.
